Signing Ceremony of Strategic Cooperation Agreement Between National New Energy Vehicle Technology Innovation Center (NEVC) and Politecnico di Torino took place in Beijing Economic and Technological Development Zone on September 23, 2018. Mr. YUAN Chengyin, General Manager of NEVC, Mr. Guido Saracco, Rector of Politecnico di Torino and other officers from both parties participated in the ceremony. National New Energy Vehicle Technology Innovation Center is the second national technology innovation center of MOST and the first national new energy vehicle technology innovation center, it aims to become the source of technology innovation, the lead of technology standard, the demonstration of opening, integration and innovation, as well as the aggregation of top talents of vehicle of world class new energy vehicles.
Politecnico di Torino was established in 1859 and is Italy’s oldest technical university. There are over 32000 students in the university. The research activities of Politecnico di Torino are mainly structured in four macro-areas: Industrial Engineering; Information Technology; Management and Mathematical Engineering; Civil, Environmental, Architecture and Design Engineering. According to ARWU Ranking 2013, Politecnico Di Torino is 1st in Italy and 8th in Europe for Engineering and Electrical Engineering.
