| May 15th, 2019, Carrie Jiao, Vice General Manager of Inkred International Consulting Ningbo Ltd. (Sino-Italian Intelligent Manufacturing Technology Promotion Centre) visited UBT, a biomedical startup and an academic derivative of the Department of Physics and Geology at the University of Perugia. UBT has invented, designed and manufactured a microwave mammography device that does not use ionizing radiation and therefore does not require X-rays and is safer and more reliable. The X-ray-free breast detection technology won the EU H2020 award and received a second-phase support fund for SMEs with a total of 1.4 million euros. Inkred intends to invite UBT to participate in the docking activities in Ningbo, related to medical devices to help them understand the Chinese market and analyze the possibility of the X-ray-free breast detection technology entering the Chinese market. |
