Professor Wang Zhenpo

Doctoral Supervisor of Beijing Institute of Technology, Executive Deputy Director of Collaborative Innovation Center for Electric Vehicles (Project 2011 of MOE) and Electric Vehicle Supervision and Management Center, Secretary General of National Big Data Alliance of New Energy Vehicle.

Professor WANG hosted the key project of National Natural Science Foundation of China – Thermorunaway and Safety Management of Power Battery System, the project of National Key R&D Projects – Integration and Control of Distributed Driving Electric Vehicle, 1 National 863 project – Design Integration and Management of Charging/Swap Facility of Electric Vehicles and other 9 government sponsored projects. He is the first owner of 24 patents, won 1 time of second prize of National Scientific and Technological Progress Award, 1 time of first prize of provincial scientific and technological awards, 2 times of second prize of provincial scientific and technological awards (including 1 first rank), 1 time of first prize of National Automotive Industry Science and Technology Progress Award (first rank).

Professor WANG was selected as Outstanding Young Manufacturing Engineer Award and of SME in 2010, “New Century Excellent Talents” of MOE, “Beijing 100 Scientific Leading Talents”, “Young and Middle-aged Scientific Innovation Leading Talents” of MOST, “National 10 Thousand Talent Program”, “12th Five-Year Plan Advanced Scientists and Technologists.
