Professor Paolo Russo

Paolo Russo is Professor of Financial Accounting and Financial Analysis at Catholic University, Milan, and is Professor of Strategy at Bocconi University and at SDA Bocconi School of Management.

He holds a lifelong and broad experience as a consultant to both family owned companies and large multinationals. He travels regularly to China, where he has been serving for more than seven years to Chinese companies in the process of acquisition of Italian companies and in IPO projects in Chinese stock market. He is the author of numerous books and articles on several issues, both on business strategy and on the drivers of shareholder value.

He was chairman of the Committee for the qualification exam as Dottore Commercialista at the Catholic University of Milan (2001-2002). He is enrolled in the Ordine dei Dottori Commercialisti di Milano (the association of Public Accountants), of whom is a member (CPA).

Paolo earned an MSc in Economics and Management and a Ph.D. in Management both from Bocconi University.

A reserve officer in the Italian Navy, he was awarded the officer sword and sash as first ranked in 75^ graduate training program for reserve officer trainees at the Italian Navy Academy (1987).
